Using Twitter as @MarchellaFit (Week 9)





New Twitter Account



This week I created a new twitter account: @MarchellaFit. I had a personal twitter account 5 years ago but I stopped posting because new social media platforms came and sometimes you just want to focus in one.

I am interested in creating a better lifestyle. Thus, to find connections I searched for words as Food, Health, Fitness, Mindsets, etc. Actually twitter it self ask you what key words you are interested in. I played around with this generic concepts and I ended finding some new people who have good content on this industries that I didn't know before. One of them is Steve Maraboli a speaker, author and behavioral scientist. His work has been published in 25 languages.  Do you know him?

 Also I made my specific search because I  follow some other personal accounts on other social media platforms as Instagram. I created 2 lists  (Food and Aware lifestyle) because I like to segment my interests. Using this feature will help me to find easy and fast content that I want to read and share. Also it helps to be organized. 

At this moment I have posted tweets about mindsets, but as I mentioned before, I will post tweets about healthy food, fitness and I will add "Travel" as well.  In order to know what is the perfect time to "Tweet" you just have to keep posting and analyze your data. As my Marketing professor quoted in class "You can't manage what you don't measure".

  1. Awesome job on taking this to the next level! Loved that you shared your experiences over the Spring Break and now you are taking another leap to make a Twitter account! Does your old personal account still exist? I don't have a personal account, though I am thinking of adding Snapchat!

  2. Thank you Davina! My old personal account still exist But I do not use it anymore. I recommend you snapchat. It is fun.
