Interior Design Marketing | Week 11A

Email Marketing

This week I want to write about Email Marketing.  Email marketing is about sending emails to the database you have collected from your subscription platform.

Whether you have a website, blog or social media accounts by inviting readers to become subscribers,  you can take advantage from all this platforms as a channel to reach your target market. This is a great tool to use because the audience interested on your company or content will be pleased to subscribe to your newsletters to know more. This type of marketing facilitates to measure the conversion of any industry.

Once you have created your database, you have to know what quality content would be interesting for your target market and your subscribers.

Talking about Interior design  and Polanco Decora,  a good content for a newsletter would have tips and ideas of decoration. Articles like "what are the trendy colors for the Spring season", "what  accessories are a must for your backyard", "How to take advantage from flowers and plants to decorate your spaces", etc.

In my opinion for the Interior Design industry, the ideal frequency to deliver a newsletter would be 2 or 3 times a month. That way, will have enough time t0 prepare exclusive content for the subscribers. Also because this content must be different from what it exists on the other platforms. Sometimes is recommended to post some introduction on  sites and let readers know that in the newsletter they can find the full note. This tactic might increase the amount of  subscribers.

I found this article about Interior Design Marketing. It caught my eye the term they are using " Interior Design Marketing". If you are curious too: Read more.

  1. Thanks for the link to the article about how to save time on social media.

I love how you add photos to all of your posts. Do you make them yourself or are they just taken from the internet?
    Thanks

    1. Hi Andrew! Thank you for your comment. I started adding pictures to my posts after the lecture about the importance of visual content. Definitely it conveys an emotion into the readers. So far, I have taken the pictures from the internet for the SM class posts. However I have posted some personal posts with my own photos.

  2. I agree that it is great to capture subscribers who are interested in what your business has to offer, they are the audience that came searching for you and is on the look out for what you have to say. As a small business, unfortunately I've found it difficult to manage the spammers who "subscribe" to my newsletter and as a result have had to take down that feature a couple of times. I currently do not offer a direct subscribe invitation on my website as a result of the repeated nuisance spamming.

  3. Very nice and great job! I agree twice a month is best for your industry to provide awesome tips and updates in the industry! Showing your consumers on your social media sites your newsletter ideas may help increase your subscribers as well! For instance, give them a sneak peak to the next subscription. If they have yet to sign up, this may intrigue them to do so! :)
